even tho we're in the middle of the summer here in cali, we don't always get summer weather here until sept or oct. consequently, when the fog's coming in & the west winds pick up, it can get a little chilly out here on our little island. all that & ann's deep addiction to super spicy food made this real texas chili(NO BEANS!!!)a pefect dish for dinner. i used four kinds of chili powder plus two kinds of fresh chilis(serrano & habanero). she had it for lunch the next day too.
