another rock & roll casualty, ian curtis would have been 53yo today but checked out early in 1980 at 23yo. i don't have a lot of joy division on my ipod but i do have a few songs. this version of "love will tear us apart" is by a norwegian band & they slow things down quite a bit to focus on the singer's voice & curtis' lyrics. the song is really quite lovely.
When the routine bites hard
And ambitions are low
